This course looks at humanitarianism and humanitarian aid both as it is, and also does a critical unpacking of some of the problems in the system. We want graduates to come out not only prepared for careers within the humanitarian sector but really prepared to change the humanitarian sector to be more just, to address imbalances of power, and really prepare it for the future.
It is the first course of its kind in Australia, and it’s the only course of its kind that is focussed on humanitarian assistance as a whole course.
