We experience thirst for a few hours while fasting, knowing a cool glass of water awaits us at iftar. For our brothers and sisters in Gaza, there is no such relief.
While we break our fast in comfort, thousands of families are left searching for just a single sip.
The Prophet ﷺ said:
“Whoever gives water to a thirsty person will be given a drink by Allah from the sealed nectar.” (Tirmidhi)
