I am going to have a benefit auction this coming Tuesday where the first $1000 of proceeds will be matched with my own money (up to a total of $2000) donated to the North Carolina Relief Fund set up by the Governor of North Carolina, Roy Cooper. My heart is crushed. My spirit is crushed. This beautiful state has – at least temporarily – been destroyed. This takes nothing from the remainder of the states with destruction and death from this storm, but North Carolina is my chosen home, and my home needs help.
