The 2025 Changemaker Wellbeing Index, published by Future of Good and Environics Research, is comprised of the most comprehensive and representative research on the wellbeing of nonprofit workers ever conducted in Canada. The Index is a free resource which provides reliable data on the factors affecting the wellness of nonprofit workers in diverse roles, causes and communities.
According to the Index:
- 93% of workers believe their work positively impacts the community. Despite this, one-third struggle with food insecurity and burnout and are considering quitting.
- 70% of nonprofit workers feel burned out and exhausted at least occasionally.
- 36% of nonprofit workers face poor or very poor wellbeing.
