The RONA Foundation is inviting Canadian charities to apply for the 2025 Build from the Heart program

The RONA Foundation invites Canadian charities wishing to benefit from its Build from the Heart program to submit their applications by February 28. Canadian charities that support victims of domestic violence and their children, low-income families and people with disabilities or mental health issues are invited to submit a major renovation or construction project. The objective is to donate a total of $1 million divided between seven projects that revitalize living environments or make access to housing easier.

Eligibility Criteria:

  • Must be based in a province where one of the corporate or affiliated stores is located.
  • Must be a Canadian charity registered under the Canada Revenue Agency (CRA).
  • Must not promote racist, religious, political, hateful or elitist ideologies.
  • Must demonstrate direct assistance to people and their communities, not to other charities.
  • Must submit a major project aimed at improving the quality of life of the populations in need listed above by revitalizing their living environments or making it easier to access housing.
  • Must demonstrate that the funds received will be used for a concrete project to be completed by December 31st of the year following receipt of the donation.
  • Funds granted under the Build from the Heart program are to be used for the purchase of building materials or products in one of the RONA stores, or for the hiring of construction professionals.
