The Philab (Canadian Philanthropic Partnership Research Network) is working on a research project examining the impact of DEI policies on the philanthropic practices of Quebec and Canadian foundations. This research project is funded by the Social Sciences and Humanities Research Council (SSHRC) and is also conducted in collaboration with the Mirella and Lino Saputo Foundation as well as Humanity Inclusion. The objective of the study is to engage with foundations and organizations active in the Canadian philanthropic ecosystem to discuss the role of DEI in their orientations and funding practices.
The short survey will allow Philab to collect basic data on the state of the philanthropic sector regarding DEI. All answers will be kept confidential to respect Philab’s ethical certificate.
