FEMA Permits Disaster Aid for Churches – ENN 2018-01-04



After being sued by three churches and two synagogues, the Federal Emergency Management Agency announces that nonprofit houses of worship are eligible for disaster aid money. Congressional Hill Correspondent Jason Calvi speaks with attorney Diana Verm of the non-profit religious liberty law firm Becket, who describes what this policy reversal means for those communities still recovering from the devasting effects of hurricanes Harvey and Irma.
