When Carlo Sandoval was diagnosed with leukemia in 2018, Make-A-Wish wanted to grant him a wish. Rather than go on a trip or meet a celebrity, Carlo chose to give back to children with autism in our community. His wish included the donation of a VECTA Mobile Sensory Station, now known as “Carlo’s Calming Station,” to help calm and entertain young patients at the @UCDavisMINDInstitute.
