With no work to turn to and the weight of financial instability pressing upon her, Ghabsha’s situation seemed bleak.
However, her story soon shifted from one of despair to hope.
Supported by the Yemen Humanitarian Fund (YHF), Relief International delivered a lifeline to nearly 7,000 people like Ghabsha in the Marib Al-Wadi District. Through economic empowerment initiatives and gender-based violence services, our dedicated teams helped at-risk populations find stability.
Lacking formal education and professional skills did not stop Ghabsha from seeking a brighter future. She seized an opportunity provided by Relief International and enrolled in a 15-day pastry and sweets preparation course. This course was more than just an educational experience—it was a stepping stone toward a new livelihood.
